The Clinic

Clear Vision Eye Care was opened in April of 2008 as one of the first businesses in the Fallbrook Towncenter.  Owners, Andrew and Katie Bateman, wanted to open a clinic that they could use not only as a way to provide services to a growing part of Lincoln, but also help people achieve and maintain the best eye health and vision possible.  Being located in Fallbrook has allowed, from the outset, for Clear Vision Eye Care to be involved in the Fallbrook community as it grows to become a social and service oriented center in Northwest Lincoln. Dr. Andrew D. Bateman

Dr. Bateman was born and raised in central Lincoln. After graduating from Lincoln Southeast High School he attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and graduated with a degree in Exercise Science. Dr. Bateman's studies then took him to Indiana University School of Optometry in Bloomington, Indiana. While attending IU Dr. Bateman married Katie Scheer-Williams, also a UNL graduate. Upon graduation Dr. Bateman along with his wife moved back to Lincoln to open Clear Vision Eye Care. Together they believed they could establish a full service optometry clinic that was a patient focused practice offering the best medical eye examinations and stylish, high quality eye wear. Dr. Bateman learned from his parents, longtime Lincoln Public School teachers, Neil and Jo Bateman, the importance of education in making sure people understand your message. His goal is to take time for each patient, listening and answering their questions, as well as offering complete and accurate information about their eye health. Dr. Andrew Bateman comments, "Lincoln is a wonderful place in which to live, work, and play". Katie and Drew feel Fallbrook is the perfect setting for their clinic, as these are the ideals that the Fallbrook development is centered around: living, working, and playing. Dr. Bateman's personal interests include family, friends, sports, and traveling.
